OEM Alloy Wheel Supplier China

One of the most common goals I hear from importers at Aomi Trading Co., Ltd. (保定澳米商贸有限公司) is: “I want to sell under my own brand — not just resell generic Chinese wheels.” That’s exactly what our OEM and private label program was built for. After 10+ years of managing custom orders for clients in 30+ countries, I can tell you: building your own wheel brand from China is more achievable than most people think.

What Is OEM / Private Label for Alloy Wheels?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) means we manufacture wheels to your exact specifications — your design, your dimensions, your finish, your packaging. You sell under your brand name; we handle production.

Private Label means we take an existing catalog model and apply your branding: custom center cap logo, branded box packaging, custom stickers and documentation — without needing to design a wheel from scratch. This is the most popular entry point for new brands.

The Private Label Process Step by Step

  1. Select Models: Choose from Aomi’s catalog — 200+ designs available
  2. Define Specs: Confirm size, PCD, offset, and finish for your market
  3. Submit Logo & Brand Assets: Send us your logo (vector AI/EPS preferred)
  4. Approve Samples: We send 2–4 branded samples for your approval
  5. Place Production Order: Confirm specs and pay 30% deposit
  6. Quality Inspection: In-house inspection with photos before shipment
  7. Export & Deliver: Full documentation with your brand name on all papers
Brand Building Tip from Aomi Trading: Start with 3–5 core SKUs (your best-selling size/finish combinations), validate them in your market for 2–3 months, then expand your catalog. This is how our most successful clients built six-figure wheel brands from a single 200-set initial order.

Markets Where Our OEM Clients Succeed

Our OEM program clients currently operate successful private label wheel brands in:

  • Thailand & Southeast Asia: High demand for 17″–20″ glossy black and gunmetal designs for pickups and sedans
  • Australia & New Zealand: Premium market — forged wheels and machined face finishes with ADR-compliant documentation
  • Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia): Large SUV market — 20″–22″ wheels in gloss black and chrome-like finishes
  • South Africa: Growing market for cast wheels; popular banded designs
  • Eastern Europe: Price-conscious but quality-aware; silver and gunmetal perform well

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register my brand in China to start OEM production?

No. You don’t need to register your brand in China for manufacturing purposes. If your brand is registered in your home country, we recommend providing a trademark certificate when placing your first OEM order to protect your design rights in the contract.

Can I order different designs in one OEM shipment?

Yes. For private label orders, you can combine multiple designs as long as the total quantity meets the 200-set minimum. For example, 80 sets of Design A + 70 sets of Design B + 50 sets of Design C = 200 sets total.

Will Aomi Trading sell the same OEM design to my competitors?

For private label (shared mold) designs, yes — the mold is shared among multiple clients, but your branding is exclusive. For full OEM custom designs with a dedicated mold, we sign exclusivity agreements by country/region. Your design is protected.

What format should I provide my logo in?

Preferred formats: AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, or high-resolution PNG with transparent background. We have an in-house design team that can adapt your logo for center cap engraving and packaging printing at no extra cost.
